Removable Roof Panel
Open-air driving is just seconds away for Corvette coupe drivers, thanks to a removable roof panel. The sixth-generation panel is almost 15 percent larger than the one it replaces, providing even more of an open-air feel in the cockpit. Even though the new panel is larger, it weighs less than the fifth-generation’s panel. It's easy to unlatch. First, lower the windows. On the front side, just pull the two latch releases out and away. On the rear, just release the handle. The top can then be easily stowed in the rear cargo area. When stowed, there is still generous cargo room available.
