I just bought a 2012 Gran Sport with an issue with the electric top. I knew there was an isue when I bought the car.

I took it to the local Chevy dealer and they have found two sensors that have failed. And the bad news is the sensor has been discountinued from GM.

The two sensors are:

GM 19120624

GM 19180913

Does anyone have a source for getting these sensors?

Try looking on RockAuto - they seem to have everything.  Checking the major Corvette parts outfits would be next.

Common issue. GM has discontinued many parts for the C6.

I had an issue with the top sensor where it makes contact with the windshield. The sensor that the "pin" of the top fits into was broken. It kept sending back the "Top not closed" message.

After searching the country for this part I was able to track down TWO of them at junk yards.

My suggestion: Find junk yards that have a convertible C6 and they should have it.  

There are MANY yards that specialize in the C6.
