So they're recalling all the C5 Vette! That's a lot of Vette to fix!

Who's got a C5? Did you get the repair done yet? How long did it take?

Have not received a notice yet. This would be to repair or adjust the electronic steering column. Have to wait and see................ |ohwell| |ohwell| |ohwell| |ohwell| |ohwell| |cussing|

Recall is on six-speed cars. Fix is to reprogram the computer so the engine will stop running if the column lock activates or disengages. This does not address the locking while in motion and is not a fix. Automatic cars do not have a locking column, only a locking gear shift.
