I have them on an'08 Coupe.  Bought the car (used) with them.  They look sharp, but honestly they are a PIA to get in and out.  You need the back of your seat to support your self in getting out.  I think it might make your back worse.  I will eventually go back to the "regular" hinges.

A friend just had them installed on his C6 Coupe and I tried it out. I 'm 6'4" and liked the extra leg room for getting in and out. It would take some practice to stand up after getting my feet on the ground. The door seems to be right where I want to stand.

I have Lambo doors on my 05 C6. They are great in the garage with two cars... Hardly any door room required. A bit of a pain if you have any shoulder problems. The actuators are sluggish when the weather is cold and it takes a decent arm to raise them. The more you use them, the easier to raise. There is a set bolt that was continually coming loose until I got it set and welded it permanently.  They get a lot of attention. Some days I like them..  Other days it would be nice to just have regular doors.
