if yours is a daily driver it will be harder to handle the noise. I put on the Billy Boat Bullet exhaust and it sounds awsome. But if it were a daily driver it would be hard to take. Try the protective heat shield that goes between the X pipe and the car. No more heat issues and less noise.

Did this work?  I have a drone with slight acceleration at any speed.  sound great at acceleration, idle, and constant speed but drones when I need to increase speed by a couple of miles and hour.

i took my c6 Mallett to Mid America and they put sound deadener-heatshield in it. helped alot. they did such a wondeful job. i couldn't even tell they had been in the car until they person that did the work pointed a couple of things out. it was a very good job and did deaden the sound quit a bit. something to think about.
