Any suggestions on what to do before storage for winter? About 4 months worth? I usually stabilize fuel and chage to fresh oil. May have small battery charger woking as well but not sure about systems impact. Anyone have any experience with c6 storage for winter?
Tires off ground or not?

I would suggest using a battery tender. As for tires on/off the ground ... I made the mistake of leaving my C5 sit on its tires throughout the winter. The following year, I noticed flat spotting on the OEM tires. Some people will say the flat spotting can sometimes go away ... but I think the longer the are stationary / under weight ... the less chance you have of getting rid of flat spotting.

I store mine for 5 to 6 months and have never had any tire problems. I do drive it up on 2" by 12" blocks of wood and keep 32psi in the tires when cold. Weather permitting, I take it out for a short run just to keep everything oiled and greased about once a month.

This will be my 2nd winter storage and i agree with the
use of a battery tender, works like a charm. I also
pump the tires up to 38lbs cold, on the advise of a
long time vette owner, which resulted in no tire flattening this past spring.

This is great information. I have been storing my Jeep Wrangler for the summer. It sat tires-on-the-floor. Now it appears that flat spotting, and out-of-round problems have revealed themselves.
I bought a storage kit that includes fuel stabilizer and four humidity control moisture absorption bags along with a Battery Tender. Battery Charge is stable, only slightly below normal.
I will increase the C6's tire pressure. Thanks for the insight.

looks like I might have a problem. I have a C5 6speed that has been hibernating in long term storage - 4 years. Battery was removed but the car is stored in a product called a 'carcoon'- a sealed plastic enclosure that is inflated with filtered air. I figure that I will need to drain/flush the fuel tank, change the oil, remove plugs and manually turn it over. What sort of lubricant(if any) should I attempt to spray through the plug holes before manually turning it over - someone suggested a light machine oil. I'll live with the flat spotted tyres. Any suggestions before I wake it up?

Thanks for all the above info. I'm wondering if I should disconnect the battery for the winter on my 2010 C-6. Will I loose all settings? Or, if I leave the battery connected, will the ECM run the battery dead? So this is where the battery Tender comes into play. Or would it be OK to just start the engine once a month to charge the battery and circulate the oil?

Where I store the car does not have an electrical outlet so I can not put a battery tender on so I  disconnect the battery at the negative terminal.  I try to get to the car at least once a month to start it, run it until it is well warmed up.  If the weather and roads are clear and dry I take it for a ride. 

The easiest thing to do is put a battery tender on it. Then go for a ride if the weather permits.

I will go with a battery tender. Thanks for the help. But taking it out for a ride this winter is out of the question. Up here in Northeast Wisconsin, we have snow all winter. Plus, Wisconsin is the road salt capital of the world. Don't want my toy exposed to that!
