First, you are not alone with this issue.  So you changed flud 20 times in how many miles?  In general, guys are changing fluid when it gets to where you can't see the bottom of the reservoir.  I have done mine many times in 50,000 miles.  Just do it when it needs to be done.  I have not heard of a better fix. The 1-2 hard shift is also a common issue.  Mine goes away after it warms up and the fluids circulate.

The hydraulic clutch system and fluid only assists in making it easier to engage the clutch as opposed to the stiff clutches used in the older muscle cars or early vettes..  If your having difficulty shifting it's possible clutch is not being fully depressed, or is being released too soon during shift, trans gear oil may need to be changed (synthetic recommended as it does not thicken when cold), bushings could be worn.  Smile

My '08 clutch is like two different animals depending on ambient temperature.  Since new, tough to shift when temp is below 45 deg F.  Above that smooth as silk.  Dealer said no problem with clutch or fluid. Yeah.

I store it in the winter so it's not a problem for me.
