I have a C6 Coupe on order and plan to change to a cat-back replacement. I had a C5 with a Corsa Indy system and it sounded pretty good. Friday I heard a C5 with a Billy Boat Bullet set-up. Very sturdy sounding!!
Any suggestions?

Vette(s): 03 6spd Coupe-quicksilver metallic-Corsa indy cat backs and X-pipe, Vararam, Baer Eradsipeed Plus one rotors, Billet Chrome Exhaust, lowered 1", 19" CCW 505A's (sweetest wheels on the planet), shortened shifter, cags delete.
Two cents coming at you..
As you already know about Corsa systems, their claim to fame is not only the sweet exhaust note but, it's attention to absolute negligible interior noise resonance, attention to detail in welds, mirror polish stainless tips, (thick and jewel-like)overall attention to deatil in their workmanship. Not to mention customer service, how accessible are they to reach on the toll free, not just the middle man who sold them to you.
I've heard the Boats and they do, sound nice. I'd like to hear from Billy Boat fans about any interior noise drone at cruising speeds.
If the Billy Boat system has gotten the interior noise resonance to a liveable level (this you must know before you buy, very important..you'll hate them otherwise noise it gets old). Conversation should be at normal levels and you can enjoy your sound system (that is, when you're not wanting to enjoy the sweet sound of the exhaust note).
Let us all know what you decide.

I'll try to attach a few picks of my new GHL system for the C6. I think it's a great option for C6 drivers that want a really "robust" sound, but no resonance or harmonics, without the need of an X pipe of separate resonators. I've had it on for two weeks - sweet.

I have Corsa Sport exhaust and am completely satisfied with it. Also had Corsa on my C5's.

From my plant tour the two cats used on the C6 are within a foot of the exhaust manifolds and part of a one piece extension from the manifold to the "H" pipe. Then the separate mufflers attach to the "H" pipe. Thus, a cat back system in the true sense is no longer possible. One can make noise with a new muffler system, improve on the "H" pipe with a true "X" pipe, and also add long tube headers. High performance cats are an option in some setups but they would have to go at the end of the long tube headers. The morals of not using cats are another thing altogether.

I have some pictures of the three parts of the standard exhaust if someone needs them. I do not have a way to post them so if you email me I will have to send you the jpegs. Alternately leave your email posted here.
