C-6 now has High Intensity Discharge (HID) projector head lamps.

This new lighting ystem uses dual projector lenses, with xenon arc HID LOW beams and tungsten halogen lamps for the high beams.

In the traditonal headlamps illumination is done by a wire filament to give light. HID lamps use high voltage electrodes to produce plasma arc light source.

This light source is then projected forward through an optical lens (NEW TECH). In previous lighting systems reflector optics technology the light is projected backwards to a reflector and forward through a lens (OLD TECH).

Producing 900 lumens of light output versus the 500 lumens in the C-5. This is an 80% IMPROVEMENT......They also have a 25% wider low beam spread.

The C-6 also uses both low and high beam lights when the high beams are turn on. This give more distance down the road for greater visbility when driving in tough nights.

The color is more illuminating. It's a higher color in temperature than halogen lighting.

All of the above sets the C-6 apart in night driving.

Now the C-6 has the flash to pass feature.
