Anybody else read the drivers seat column regarding NO red C6 to be available? and the price to be close to if not over 60 thousand? the connection to the Cadillac XLR is also emphasized and tends to downgrade the Corvette by the similarities. This info apparently comes from some "insiders" and if true are not going to help the acceptance of the C6.I currently have 3 red corvettes and a c6 on order (wasnt going to be red anyway) but to not offer it is not a smart move in my opinion. What are your thoughts on this? As the article states, "the 50th anniversary edition was underwhelming" and if these items are in fact the truth the future of the corvette is not what a lot of us want.

Actually, I read there would not be a torch red c6. The new color is called precision red. I'm sure it will be very similar, since red has always been one of the best selling colors. They will also offer magnetic red metallic II. Check out the web site WWW.C6Vettesales.com, and click on the C6 facts link. They have some really good info there.

What do expect from a Vette magazine whose editor would rather drive a Camaro than a Corvette.
