Starting to see the C6 one the road. A yellow one past by me tday in Waterford, Mi. Anybody you know?

Must be a pre production test car.

Went to Bowling Green last weekend. Meet an engineer from Milford proving grounds at rest area outside of Louisville driving a silver C6, says the car is an improvement over the C5 as much as the C5 was over the C4. After leaving the Museum on Sunday morning two new convertibles were at the gas station in front of the museum. Dave Hill was driving a Yellow convertible and one of Corvette engineers was driving a silver conv.
Talked to the engineer, ask how quiet the C6 was. He said that the new Convertible is now as quiet at the C5 coupe. He said that the car is all of what they expected. I also saw the Daytona orange in the museum I am now trying to decide weather to change colors from red to orange. Anyone else seen the orange? what do you think??

I saw the orange at the LA Auto Show. Nice color if you just want something different. If you are a "Red" person like me, you won't be happy very long with the orange.

"MARIAH'S" YOU COULD SEE THE PARKING LOT FROM OUR SEATS AND IN PULLS A RED CONVERTIBLE. I LEAPED FROM MY SEAT AND INTO THE PARKING LOT WAITING FOR HIM TO PARK...HE WAS AN ENGINEER FROM THE PLANT AND WAS DRIVING ONE OF THE FIRST ONES OFF THE LINE...I SAT IN IT AND IT FELT SO GOOD...AND HE AND HIS FAMILY WERE SO NICE, BECAUSE ONCE THAT HAPPENED THE REST OF OUR GROUP FLOCKED AROUND.

WE ALSO GOT TO TALK TO ANOTHER ENGINEER FROM THE PLANT AND GOT SOME INFO ON THE 2006 "ZO6".

YOU MAY OR MAY NOT KNOW THIS STUFF ALREADY...BUT SOME OF IT WAS NEW INFO FOR US AND CONFIRMED SOME STUFF WE ALREADY HEARD ABOUT....

IT WILL HAVE MODIFIED BODY PANELS (WIDER W/ADDITIONAL COVES) THE REAR TIRES ARE ABOUT TWO INCHES WIDER THAN THE C6. APPROXIMATELY 500 HP 427 SMALL BLOCK....ALUM. FRAME.

WE ALSO GOT TO SEE THE C6 ON THE LINE IN THE PLANT..THEY WERE BUILDING ONE EVERY 13 CAR...ALSO SAW THE LAST TWO C5 CONVERTIBLES BEING BUILT.

WE HAD A BLAST....WE ARE ALSO PLANNING ON GOING UP FOR THE 10YR ANNV. FOR THE MUSEUM.
