DIC stands for Driver Information Center.
This now a two line display above the steering wheel, like in the C-5.
It gives information like:
Trip computer
fuel economy
driving range
tire pressure
oil life remaining
trans temp
oil temp
etc.
You can also program your name!
It utilizes organic light emitting diode technology for full color and higher level of brightness nad sharpness.
OLED is self luminous and do not require backlighting as with mercury lamps.
This is not a real new feature but a real IMPROVEMENT over C-5 DIC
