The C-6 has flip flopped the transmission option offered in the C-6. The manual 6 speed transmission will be offered standard for the first time since 1980. The automatic transmission is now the option choice!

For 05 on C-6, automatic is an option (extra)

Oy! Considering a six-speed WAS $915 extra ... it looks like GM reversed their roles and thoughts on which tranny should be an extra expense item. Hmmm ... what to do?

Okay ... I will call Bob Lutz ... ask him to refund my $915 that I paid for the MN6. Once I get my check ... I will post a thread online, so that everyone else can get their refund. Don't go spending that money right away ... it might take a week or two for me to get the first refund check!
