now you know good and well they will be bugs in any new style do you rembember the 97 transmission bug? with free loaner car from your dealer? the first year buyers of a new car style are experiments to find the problems that they need to deal with. don't rush in to it. chevrolet will be here when where not. corvettes are not going anywhere. |cussing|

I know your right about the bugs to work out in the first year of production, but it would be so cool to be driving around the new C-6 and people asking about it and all the looks and hoop-ya because its new styling and improvements. |thumb| |wavey|

I don't think there will be many, if any bugs...
Some of the equipment from what I have heard has already
been used in the 2003 & 2004 vettes, and the engine sounds like it's for the most part a Z06 from what you hear(horsepower)
I think this is going to be the best 1st year Vette ever!!

This was also true for the C5 also, the 95;s and 96's where carrying some equipment..there will be bugs, always are but they will work themselves out just like the XLR is.

i had a very early 97 april build and the panels were not fit very well, but i fixed that myself. other than the noisy fuel pump and the gas gauge problem, which i never had repaired,it was trouble free for 13,000 miles till i bought my 99. each of my 3 C-5s kept getting quieter, smoother and better finished than the last one. having owned new corvettes in the 50s and 60s i know what problems(bugs) are. |eek| i plan to get a C-6 as soon as my dealer can get me one,it is nice to have the first one in town. |biggrin|
