I am ready to buy a new corvette coupe 2004 or should I wait for 2005 C-6 coupe next year and have the advantage of more HP (400hp) and newer look?

go ahead and get you a c5 let. one year pass to get the bugs out you will be much more happy once you see how many problems that going to have to be fixed. all you will be doing is building equity in your car.drive it easy keep it clean.

Vette(s): 03 6spd Coupe-quicksilver metallic-Corsa indy cat backs and X-pipe, Vararam, Baer Eradsipeed Plus one rotors, Billet Chrome Exhaust, lowered 1", 19" CCW 505A's (sweetest wheels on the planet), shortened shifter, cags delete.
Good question. I'm faced with same thing. Buy an 03 Vert or Coupe or save the money and build equity in my bank. The thing with new arrival models such as the C6 is, that there are going to be issues but no more perplexing than the issues we face with the current C5. I mean they've been building Vettes for 50 years! If length of time meant anything towards building a bullet proof "high performance" car, they and every other performance car/motorcycle builder hasn't found the secret to eliminating (pita) bugs. (And for sure in 100 or more years the Harley Davidson and Indian motorcycle companies haven't either.)
The saving grace here is, you get a warranty. You can buy an extended warranty if that makes you feel better as well.
Bottomline:
If you want a part of classic American heritage and American culture, all with a unique style and magic like no other. (With the exception of course of an Indian or Harley Davidson.) You need a Vette.
Each year GM will improve on an already improved platform. The C5 has been their best Vette yet. 2003 with it's new magnetic ride. 2004 with the new carbon fiber hood for the Z06 and sachs shocks. 2005 the new C6 and it's goodies. Live for now, play hard.
God willing you will see tomorrow. You can always buy a C6 in 2-3 years after they've developed the Vette that much furthur.
I think I've found my, answer.
Outta here!

I think I would wait until the debut of the
C6 and see if you like it. ( Only 1 month away )
Also, you will be able to get around $ 8000.00
off MSRP and 0% interest soon. ( I BET )
Let GM work out the BUGS in the C6 for a few years.
And you will be enjoying your new ride now !!!!!!!
