Anyone have an idea on how to get rid of the ugly yellow air bag labels on the sun visors? On the C5 you can peel them of, but not on the C6. Can you spray them black?

I removed only one and used a small bit of paint thinner on the residue. It took most of it off and didn't affect the dye black. The smell lasted only a few hours. I'm holding off on the other until another method is proven to be better.
Here is what I ended up doing.
I bought some of the Inhibisol Solvent, used for Electrical parts/connector cleaning and tried it. I had also tried GOO GONE and SURE SOLV (used by dealers during delivery prep).
Because the Label separated from the backing there still was the plastic/vinyl part left on the visor.
The problem was these cleaners. INHIBISOL, GOO GONE and SURE SOLV did not penetrate the plastic/vinyl, I had to scuff the surface VERY GENTLY with a wire brush. This allowed the cleaners to get to the glue to loosen/soften. I then used a toothbrush and clean, white towel to rub and remove the residue.
I think the New Labels must be different from the past because they DID peal off easily.
