Charles, I have a friend here in Warner Robins, Ga. that told me a while back that he has taken his pads out an fixed them. He said that it was not hard to do.
I will go see him that week and ask how he did it.

How is it listed, I'm not puter literat, how do I find it? Thanks.
The door pads come apart very easily - once you have taken the exterior door pads off, it then is simply an issue of cleaning the metal parts with some very, very super fine sand paper - with ageing these metal parts get tarnished (a very thin layer of a dielectric corrosion) and then they won't get a good connection. It is really quite simple, two screws and the pads slip off, clean the metal parts - and reassemble - really not a difficult job at all. Did this on my 2007 when the door opening began to get cantankerous - haven't had any more problems.
I replaced my passenger touch pad. It is simple, requires just a phillips head screwdriver. If you want, go to Youtube and search it. There are at least 7 videos of how to do it. Hope this helps. 5 minute job.
