Vette(s): Corvettes I have owned: 1978 Silver Anniversary Coupe, 1978 Indy Pace Car Coupe, 1986 Red Coupe, 2004 Convertible the Last production C-5 made, 1996 Collector’s Edition, 2004 Convertible LeMans Blue, and now 2007 Yellow Coupe
I have had my 2007 coupe 3.5years and 37,000 miles and no problems
If gasket is coated with silicone and allowed to cure before installing no leak should result.Proper torque should be used. 40 years as mechanic and no failures should convince me it works.
