Recently had a leak fixed on my 2007 c6.Anyone else?

Had 2007 3 years and 15,600 miles when traded - never any problems with oil pan. Only differential fluid replaced once.

I have had my 2007 coupe 3.5years and 37,000 miles and no problems

My '05 had an oil pan casket leak a couple of years ago.  I read on another corvette forum that this is a fairly common problem.

If gasket is coated with silicone and allowed to cure before installing no leak should result.Proper torque should be used. 40 years as mechanic and no failures should convince me it works.Smile
