Just picked up our Dayton Sunset Orange convertible at the NCM this Saturday. We trailered the car home which meant we had to disconnect the battery so not to drain it on the trip home. We did not want to leave it in reverse to protect the transmission while trailering (towing) the car.
When we got home and reconnected the battery the power top would not work. The owners manual say to disconnect the battery if the car will not be used for 25 days or more. Call the 1-800 number got no help. Does this mean every time you disconnect the battery something has tio be done to the power top?
Anyone else had problems with the power top not working?

All you should have to do after the bat. is reconnected is to re-index the windows. The first thing I would check would be the trunk partition. The big concern with making sure that the car be left in reverse with the M6 trans was with '05's. The shut down procedure was changed with the 06's. The best thing to do if you do not use the car for extended periods of time is to pick up a Battary Tender.
