Family Guy was a prime-time cartoon on Fox for 3 years. It never got very good ratings, but I loved it! It also seemed to have a bit of a cult following. The 3 seasons are now available on DVD.

I think it failed because it was so edgy.

Anyone else a fan?

Cartoon Network is airing the Family Guy that wasn't allowed to be aired on Fox. I've seen this ep a couple times(must be on the DVDs, which roommate also owns). I must've watched every episode at least twice at this point! ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS. Good times, sit back with a case of Killian's, a bucket of chinese delivery and a DVD of Family Guy. Most weeknights around here!
