What is the difference between the 2008 and 2009 zo6 corvette.Is it better to buy a 2008 Corvette at a 1500.00 dollar price difference?

This thread is probably in the wrong category.  Though I do not know much about C6 (08 vs 09), personally, my own opinion would be to get the 09 if there is only a $1,500 difference.  I am assuming the vehicles are identical (or close to the same).  More than likely, a price increase would be accounting for the additional $1,500.  I'd think the dealer would be more interested in selling the 08 over the 09 ... so perhaps you can get a better deal on the 08?  If you lease, you will likely get a better money factor & residual factor on the 09.  Rates should not be any different on an 08 or 09, assuming you finance outside of GMAC (who may or may not have diffrerent rates for different model years).  My opinion is based upon future wholesale or retail value, should you decide you will ever want to sell or trade the car.  IMO, one model year will be worth at least $1,500 more ... unless you are going to hold onto the car for a significant period of time (8+ years, +/-).
