Don't have a C6, but I'm looking at my options and need help

Well, I think I finally convinced the wife!  She has given approval to replace my daily driver Silverado with a C6 Convertible.  So, that means that the Corvette would be my daily driver.  I'm looking for advice, experience, etc.  I'd like to know about driving a C6 year round (I live in the midwest, so I will experience snow, etc, sometimes heavy).  Also, there is no garage space available, so the car will sit outside

Did the C6 ever come in a green color?  If so, what years?

Is an aftermarket hardtop available to put on the car in winter to keep some of the cold out?

Do any of you drive your car in winter?  If so, do you think I would need/want a hardtop?

Are there any options you would suggest I either get, or stay away from?

I know heated seats were available, but were cooled seats ever an option?  If so, what years?

When did the auxillary jack for an iPod, etc become an option?  Was it an option, or was it standard?

When did bluetooth become available?

I have an aftermarket GPS that works fine.  But are there any reasons any of you would suggest/warn against finding a car with the facotry GPS?

Did any of the C6's come with the GM "My Link" system?

Was push button start standard on all C6's?  If not, when did it become an option, and what option package was it on?

How about remote start?  Option/Standard?

Any other recommendations/warnings?

I'm hoping that once the C7's start to deliver, folks will start trading in their C6s and I can get a fairly low milage (under 40K) convertible for under $35.  Sound realistic?  There are cars out there now that fit that bill, but I'm hoping once the C7s really start to roll, there will be more options.

Again, keep in mind, this will be a daily driver in the midwest.  I also plan to take long vacation trips in the car during the summer months.  So I'm not looking for something with "investment" potential.  I want a good, solid car that I can drive for a number of years and really enjoy.

I look forward to your comments/suggestions!

Thanks
