Btw, I'm proud to say, the Z06 Performance Fest was the result of a discussion I had with Wendell Strode, Larry Hayes, & Dave Hill. Long story short, two of us from the www.Z06vette.com group, convinced these gentlemen to host the Fest!

Pre-registration has ended, but you can register at the Fest!

Don't forget, the C6 will be in production starting July 19th, so this is a great opportunity to see them being built at the plant.

I live to far away...... California

My wife and I spent 4 1/2 wonderful days in BG during the 3rd annual Z06 Fest. The plant was open for public tours all week, and I was able to track down the VIN and sequence number for my C6!

The line was moving very slowly when I went thru last Wednesday. This was deliberate, to be sure all processess went well during the new model buids. Once the cars meet all quality and reliability issues they will be shipped to the dealers. Silver was by far the lagest number of colors on the line. We even saw a Export model in final prep area.

Who else was there?

I was at teh museim for a couple of hours on Friday. I didn't have my 73 with me because I was in Ky on business but, I have to like having a job that gets me to the museim. I will be back with the Vette for Labor Day.

The 4th Annual Z06 Performance Fest is scheduled for July 21-23, 2005 at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky.

Everyone is welcome, and you do NOT have to own a Z06 to enjoy the fun!

Mrs Zippy and I are on our way to this year's Z06 Fest.
We plan to arrive in BG mid afternoon on Tuesday.
Fest begins on Thursday.
